Concealed Cistern - Bottom Entry Inlet or Side

Hi

When choosing a new concealed cistern does it matter which one you decide between a bottom entry inlet or side entry inlet

My existing toilet and pipework is below

Not really but if you are going to box the cistern in, it might be better to go for a side entry to allow easier access in ther future.
