Currently installing something similar to this:

Fitment of connections to the valve itself are not a problem.
I plan to use a wall plate elbow for the shower head pipe coming out of the wall, and loose the brass backnut as no access behind (see pic). Will loctite 55 it, and screw the arm on after tiling, and wind the cover plate back slightly against tiles.
The problem is with the outlet for the hand held (lady part washer) shower. All that is supplied is the fitting which goes against the wall which is plastic (see pic). Is it ok to use a wall plate elbow for this also for the connection in the wall and wind it on with loctite after it has been tiled? Being plastic is just seems flimsy etc compared to the metal shower arm.
