Hi,

I have a 120 yr old terrace house with a cellar conversion nearly complete. (done by me :D )

The stairs to the cellar are really uneven due to being walked on for many years, I dont know how to repair this I have thought about using self levelling concrete but have no idea where to start, should I use batons or plasterers edging ??

anyone have any Ideas or has done this before ??

hi

you can do it the same way as any other concrete job. Get a piece of wood to go against the step, fill the step with concrete, level with spirit level, cover with plastic sheeting or something and allow to set as normal. if you want to still get into the cellar, do every other step, wait for them to dry and then do the others. Hope that helps
