Hi,

Can any one give me some advice on how i should procede with this project.

I Currently have a side ally that seperates my house from my two out houses. The ally is currently paved, I wish to make this ally weather proof as our washing machine/ freezer extra are in these outhouses and i want to make it appear as a utility room/s.

So to my first problem, the outhouse concrete floor is about an inch higher than the paving and i want it to be a level surface.

Firstly i would have to a damp proof layer under the concrete paving, but what is the best way to level this area out. Can i simply pour concrete over the paving until level?

any idea's/ tips would be appreciated

1 inch isn't a whole lot to work with. i'd be inclined to dig out the paviors and lay a proper floor with hard core, dpm and maybe inso' too.
