Hi,
First post. I am trying to erect a 7ft by 3ft bike shed . I want it to sit on a walkway by the side of the house (about 3ft away from rear extension) The surface has a small slope and the spot i want the shed to sit on is half concreted and half concrete paving.
I want to lay paving slabs on it to create a level base for the shed.Is this possible/advisable ?
Can anyone suggest how best to bed the paving slabs securely(what sand type/ cement mix to use and any tips on how to get the best result ?
Any advice gratefully received.
Many thanks,
hugh

Very hard to say without knowing whether the sub bases are of comparable strength. It might be wiser to use a timber framed base instead of the weight of concrete.
