Hi.. I'm building a 4 inch brick wall 22 course high will 6 inch concrete footing be ok

Probably not. And a single skin wall won’t stay up at those heights once the wind blows, even if you do a decent foundation.
 
You usually have 100mm either side so your halfbrick wall wants 300 wide. Give it some depth as well, if you're in good ground go down about 800mm. Up to you whether you do a strip & build up or trench fill. How long is the wall, much more than 1500 & you'll be needing a buttress or a return wall

Wall is only 2 and a half brick each side I am having a gate in between
