The following was an elderly garage & greenhouse install that I disconnected today on call as it was tripping the RCD.

There was a live/earth fault on it, tripping the RCD, so I had to disconnect. But even if there wasn't, I'd have asked the customer if I could disconnect. We can't do it without their permission...
 
I like the way that the air bricks have been filled up with cavity wall insulation!!

Yeah, crazy. I see a lot of that expanded foam and also silicone sealant. Madness, but you can't convince these people...
