Hi,

As it was really cold during the night i've noticed this morning that on the walls below the bay window in our bedroom there is quite a lot of condensation. The wall was freezing to the touch and as this is an external wall in a Victorian house there is no cavity just a solid brick construction possibly 400mm thick.

Is there any way to overcome this happening as i'm getting central heating installed as of tomorrow and a radiator is going in the bay on the most effected wall as of pure chance as i've only just noticed the condenstaion and the heatings been arranged for weeks. Will this stop the condenstaion by warming the wall

Or will this not stop the condensation and should i be looking at having to remove the radiator once fitted as i cant put of installation of heating and insulate this wall some how? If the plaster was hacked off i could probably get about 40mm before the wall would stick proud of the window sill above.

Fingers crossed the radiator will do?

Thanks
