hi can anyone help me out.. my house has a problem with black marks on the wall off condensation... i've had double glazing fitted and the loft insulation /wall done and not as bad as it was but its still there in places
i.ve noticed my house has no air bricks in would this solve the problem?
if so how many per wall and where do you put them.( bottom of the wall and the upper part for the upstairs???)
thanks

Span, double glazing doesn't solve the problem of mould from condensation. Indeed, it makes it worse because moisture-laden air is trapped inside the house. You may not see it on the windows as you did with single-glazing but unless you provide another source of ventilation, the air will simply get rid of its dampness in other places - including the structure of the building. Make sure you keep your trickle vents open.
