CONDENSATION

i live in a second floor flat and suffer with condenstion on french doors.
the doors are wooden single glazed and face north east ( which probably doesn't help). the water tends to stream down in the winter months but even in this milder weather there is some some condensation there.
The doors do not fit that well so there are plenty of gaps for air to circulate.
The question is would I benefit by replacing with double glazed doors with a trickle vent?
Most of the other windows in the flat are double glazed upvc.
Any suggestions would be useful.

I believe condensation is mainly due to differences in internal and external air temperatures and can also happen with double glazed windows, even if they have trickle vents. If you have curtains in front of the doors, this will limit the air circulation and might result in more damp - try leaving the curtains open for a night and see what happens.
