condensing boiler or not?

i've heard off my father that a friend of his had a standard (non- condensing) combi fitted after april this year.
the installer had submitted a quote b4 that date and said that as long as it was installed b4 july it was allowed by corgi.
is that the case?

yep tis true but very short sighted.

The guys will tell you I don't like combi's full stop, but hell if you must fit one why not a steamy and save money
