have had a couple of quotes for boilers worcester bosch 30si or 34cdi understand the gas pipe will need to be changed for the 34cdi model is the only difference the litres per mjnute.not asking would you buy one or asking for an alternative model

Si - cheap plastic boiler
CDi - more expensive plastic boiler and out of the two a much better boiler.
Two totally different heat exchangers.
Certainly not my first choices; but if you are insisting on one of those two, then goes for the CDi everytime.

High flow rates are only useful if you ar a bather not a showered. Large combis rarely supply more than one hot tap properly at a time unless you have flow regulators on each and every outlet.

CD I far superior boiler, different heat exchanger, pump, condenses in hot water, PCB with lots more settings. They now also do a 32cdi compact.
