I would like to replace a switch in our conservatory.
The switch controls 2 lights,one at either end of the conservatory.
I have read a couple of posts but just asking before i make the change.

All 3 Earth wires are connected in a block connector.
All 3 Black Neutral wires are connected in a block connector.
All 3 Red wires + bridging wire are connected to the back of the switch.

I have named the wires X,Y & Z
I am asking just because the layout on each switch is slightly different.

Am i correct in the following,,

X = Live supply into switch & bridged to second switch.
Y = Light one etc.
Z = Light two etc.

Many thanks.

So i am ok to continue with the swap ?

Should the left switch turn on the right light & the right switch turn on the left light i just need to swap the L1 wies around ?

yup

can do it however you want to. Personally I would have the left switch switching the left light and the right switch switching the right light, but depends on the room layout I guess
