Hi,

I'm a homebrewer and my boil kettle uses 2 x 2.7kw low density heating elements.

I'm getting a smaller kettle with a single 2kw elements and I want to use my existing power cables for this too.

What type of connectors could I fit to all my elements to allow me to connect, detach and then reconnect all my elements to my existing power cables?

The elements are earthed through the cable so I'm guessing the connectors would need to be 3 pin and capable of safely supplying up to 3kw of power.

Thanks

Do you mean two elements in the one kettle?

Is it a single element or two elements?

How many are there, now?

I am totally confused.

Please start again.

So.....

I have a brew kettle with 2 x 2.7kw elements.

I am getting a smaller kettle with 1 x 2kw element.

The earth is connected to the elements through the cable.

I want to be able to unplug the elements on the large kettle and use the same cable on the small kettle. So what kind of connector would be best?

Commando connector?

I am sorry. But I have no idea what a brew kettle is. Does if have a fixed cable with a 13amp standard plug on the end? Or does the cable plug into the kettle in some way.
Maybe provide some links to the products.
