My new CD35C was supplied with an Alpha 7-Day Easy-Stat which I don't find to be as flexible as the Digistat 3 which was fitted to my previous Ideal Combi. I have connected the Digistat 3 to Terminals 1 & 2 having first removed the link, and have set the Easy-Stat to P3 (ON for 24h) so that the system is controlled by the Digistat. I would like to remove the Easy-Stat altogether, but need it in place at present in order to provide a 240v switched live feed. Is there a safe alternative? I would guess that it should be possible to link two of the four wires (brown, blue or red x 2) which connect to the spade terminals on the Easy-Stat receiver, but I don't want to risk frying the PCB.
