Hi all,
Im currently redoing the downstairs bathroom in my 1960s house. The soil pipe is clay and comes up vertically under the cavity flooring in to my bathroom. I need to reroute it slightly so need to add about an extra metre of new soil pipe. How would people recommend I connect a new 110mm plastic pipe to the existing 4" clay one? Ive seen people use the rubber adapter with jubilee clips for underground waste pipes but Im not confident that it will provide a reliable seal (I dont want poo water escaping under my floorboards!). I was thinking about using a pan connector to join the two, any thoughts?
Thanks
