I have a clay soil pipe that comes vertically up from the foundations and projects 300mm into the bathroom which an old style toilet connects too. I have purchased a closed coupled toilet and the outlet pipe is only 115mm from the back of the toilet so I need to move the soil pipe. I know I will have to cut the clay pipe below the floorboards somewhere and attached some form of coupler, but I do not like the look of the ones that use jubilee clips is there any other type that is available or better?
