Could anyone please give advice for the wiring? The siemens rev24 thermostat is a wired version (has battery for powering the thermostat itself though).
On the rev24 thermostat the connections are T1, T2 and also L, L1 and L2. On the glowworm boiler there's an X106 module with burner off, 24V = RT and ebus - and +. There is also X1 module on the boiler which has L, N, earth and RT which is just how the boiler is connected to the mains and nothing is present in RT on that.
I had a ebus thermostat before and it was just connected to the two ebus terminals with 24V = RT and burner off being bridged.
Any help in how to connect the siemens thermostat? I know it won't be able to modulate the boiler the same as ebus can, but it has the programming feature that I'd like to have. I have a heat-resistant 5 core .75mm2 cable running between the boiler and where the thermostat is to be located.
Thanks for any advice, much appreciated.
