Hi,

I'm currently installing the stated thermostat to a glow worm betacom 24c combi boiler.
I've checked the wiring diagrams and done various google searches before I fully proceed, but just wanted one final check about the volt free installation.

From what I can see I connect up the L and N to the corresponding terminals in the thermostat and then the COM and NO to the 24v RT in the boiler.

So to double check, the 240v going into the thermostat is literally just to power the thermostat itself and won't supply 240v into the 24v RT, thus blowing my PCB.

Yes that is correct, learn from installing the Salus as you will be replacing it soon with something that works

Thanks ianmcd. And yeah I did read some mixed reviews about them, but just wanted a cheap one for now. I'll go with something a bit more upmarket next time
