Hi

i was looking for a little help, we have recently purchased a whirlpool bath, but not picked it up yet so dont know the size of the motor!! We are redesigning the bathroom and removing the power shower, so i was wondering if i could use the shower circuit on the bath and connect into a fused down box?? is this possible??

if this is totally wrong whats the best way to do it

thanks in advance :D

You could use this circuit as a power source.
The circuit must have RCD protection and circuit be down fused, to the suitable amps for the equipement.
It is a special location and the equipment is not like for like.
This means work is notifiable to building controls.

It's not as simple as just grabbing an RCD, there may already be one on the circuit, and it also depends on what other protection measures are in place - to do this yourself will end up expensive as you have to notify the LABC before doing the work and pay their fee under Part P of the building regs - you're far better off just getting a qualified spark in to sort it out for you, it will probably be cheaper in the end...
