Hi,

Just got an underfloor heating pack for my extension, it comes with a manifold or ZRU as it’s called. The instructions say it can be plumbed in from an existing radiator, “in series not parallel so the ZRU will pull water through the radiator rather than bypass the radiator”

When I lifted the floor I have found that the pipes feeding it are reduced to the micro bore 10mm stuff only for the last 10 inches ( they have installed the 10mm pipe behind the skirting board and then out of the wall)

Do I take it I need to remove these small lengths of micro bore to my radiator and replace with 15mm so that my manifold will work correctly?

Your advice please
