I've got this solar which powers a pond pump, the connection to solar screen has broken, how can I repair it? Solder with wire?

If you know how it supposed to connect then solder it and then apply a big lump of hybrid polymer sealant to weather proof the the repair.

Just drip solder down the hole? There's no clear connector down there

Can't really tell from the photo how it is electrically connected. Maybe you can use a multimeter to see which bits produce a voltage?

Come on, I just found a 6V 2W panel on eBay for 3 quid
Will that connect to my cable and pump? The problem is just the connection which has snapped off between panel and connecting box. Shove a load of copper wire and solder down the hole?
