Morning All, I have one of those solar lights, and the two wires have broken away from the underside of the little solar panel. I did try to stick them back on with sellotape (one of the repair options I found on the internet), but that didn't work, so I tried to solder them back on, which sort of worked but was very hard to get the solder to adhere..... I'm told that superglue may impair the electrical contact, so does anyone know of a better way to fix this?

Hopefully you'll see the image I've added, which shows the solar light in it's unrepaired state....

Perservere with the soldering if you can....scrape off any debris with a knife or whatever, apply some extra flux and give it another go.
Adhesives will provide an insulating barrier, more than likely.
Failing that, I guess replacement becomes inevitable!
John :)

Thanks John, I'll wait and see what occurs after the sun comes out.....
