I think that you need to realise that many appliance manufactures do not consider that a wait of 2-3 weeks is unreasonable.

I DO realise that. that is why we do ALL our own un warranty work. We don't expect our clients to take several days off work waiting for an agent who may not turn up. We visit at a time, as far as possible, that is convenient for the client.

I rather suspect that B & poo don't offer the same service.

That could be sleeved in 22 mm copper or better a smaller plastic tube.

bad advice there! only yellow PE plastic is suitable as a plastic sleeve
i would expect your fitter to want a 15mm with a 22mm sleeve through the wall reducing down once in the property

Interesting information. When did the regulations regarding plastic/pvc
sleeving change? Only on monday I sleeved 15mm pipe for a cooker with
white pvc through two walls.
I'm still using BS6891
