Hi All

First post so be nice!

We are swapping the position on the toilet and bath. The loo is currently connected straight throught the wall to the cast iron stack with a length of lead pipe. As this is going to become redundant and the bath waste only a foot or so away I woundered would it be possible to insert a lengthe of pipe from the bath waste thought the old connection well into the stack the turn the lead in on itself and mortar over the hole? The loo connection would a good 18" below the old branch on the stack?

Hope that's clear
Thanks in adavance.

How do you intend to connect the new loo? Cant see your plan working, it's a complete bodge, you run the risk of mortar dropping into the stack and blocking it! I'd be looking at removing the top section of the stack, replace in plastic to allow connection of the new pan at appropriate position, then connect new bath waste via a boss.
