They I wanting to renew my cast iron stack in plastic from the first socket on it. I wonderd if I could put 4inch plastic pipe into the top of the cast iron socket then put plumbers mate around this will this seal ok. Thanks for any suggestions

Thanks for advice. Did it hold ok with hemp and black mastic sealant?
