I was working on a site the other day and noticed that the radiators were fed from behind and centre using flexible hose.

It looked neat as the pipe work was almost hidden. Is this a new thing? Any good and what is the product I am looking for?

Cheers

I am not aware of any product designed to be that way. Sounds like someone has got a bit clever with some flexible tap connectors to me. A good idea in essence but not something a real plumber would do simply because 'it doesnt say you can do that on the tin' and 'it ain't proper plumbing'. Water regs are funny about fittings being used only for their intended purpose.
If you do find some flexi's designed for this purpose then please let me know but I dont think you will because of the risk of kinking in an exposed situation.

I think it could look as nice if not better than pipes coming up from the floor at each end, it would also make using a vacuum cleaner easier, and has I said decorating behind would be so easy.
Is permissible that is what was asked.
