apart from it being a bodge standard flexis are not designed for the temps.

Had to have a laugh at a mate who quoted same job as me and got it. As we spoke about it i said it would have been a nice easy job if it was not for the flexi`s. He looked a bit blank . Till i said did not notice every rad upstairs fitted on them.

You can get suitable flexi braided hoses, some commercial boilers are connected with them.
Some designer rads have them inside, and most domestic plinth heaters use them, eg: Smiths SpaceSaver.
It might look a bodge, or in a very modern house, it could look quite arty f@rty......
