I want to connect a 12kw cooker to a circuit run in 6mm T+E with 30A BS3036 fuse. With diversity I make it a 21A load. There is a CCU (no socket) and outlet in place. The cooker is a free standing model so wont normally be moved, but could be if required.
The cooker was not supplied with a power lead. What is the recommended method for attaching the cooker to the cooker outlet?
Can I use 6mm T+E, or do I need flex ? If flex, what size? I cant seem to get more than 2.5mm flex, which are rated at 25A. THis exceeds the diversity rating, but doesnt seem sufficient to me. Are there any requirements for protection of teh cable from heat?

Thanks
Andy
