I want to plumb in a dishwasher and washing machine together; I have located the y-adaptor for the inlet, but cannot find a suitable adaptor to connect both outlet hoses to the stand-pipe - What would be the name of the part I'm looking for?

Connecting two appliances to stand-pipe

There is a gadget they make that fits onto top of standpipe with connection for 2 hoses, and it has a vent. But I would worry about whether or not the drainage from the standpipe can cope with discharge from both appliances simultaneously, especially if not on the ground (lowest) floor!
