Is there anything available like an earth connector bloc-bar, but that is protected with insulation (like a choc bloc) to enable 10 single core cables to be connected together.?
Suggestions or signposting please.

10 cables seems like a lot but guess it depends on the application. What is the use for this? What rating does the connector block need to be/handle? what is the size of the single core conductor?

Alarm system wiring 13v
(But also wondering if there is something for 240v)

240v doesn't mean too much as it all depends on the current you want to run through it, also if you need to wire 10 x 240v cables together then there's a good chance the design is wrong or its a specific application like a lighting junction box.

As for the alarm system, you could use some wago lever style connectors and put 2-3 inside the same terminal. the 5 lever types will easily get you 15 wires in an insulated block however 10 cables seems a bit much for an alarm system on a single terminal. What part of the alarm you need 10 cables wired to? The only thing I can think of would be the aux power.

If you wanted some kind of enclosure that wasn't just a terminal block you could use something like this and just bridge all the connections together at one side (or split for +ve & -ve)

Looks like a choc bloc strip with links will suffice.
Thanks anyway for your thoughts.

You should easily be able to get ten cores of alarm cable into a bit of 15A connector block. I suspect you may be using the 5A stuff.

There are DIN rail mounted terminals where you can link the terminals.
Well if you're going to use a DIN rail, surely a distribution block like this would be the thing to use?

(Plenty of other makes, sizes, current ratings, numbers of poles, etc, are available.)

Are do linking the tamp cables Tony, if so, then a 5amp choc block strip is best, but obviously they link one to the next, not all into one.

If your doing lots buy some single and twin insulated ferrules and make up the links

Preformed insulated copper combs to go into one side of a choc block to join them together.

Could be made in appropriate colours, and a range of lengths (possibly) and a reasonable range of sizes, e.g. 5A, 15A, 30A.

I'd buy a few of those green terminals as in omega015's picture and solder them onto a bit of veroboard.
