My lean to conservatory was built 24 years ago. It was built over a sewer pipe which is approx 1 metre deep, the inspection cover/access to the sewer is approx 1 metre away from the conservatory. This pipe is parallel to the back of my property and also appears to serve the property’s either side of me. Just wondering if this will cause an issue when I come to sell. I know there are new rules in force ref building over a sewer which I believe came into force in 2011.

Any advise greatly accepted..:)

The conservatory may have been exempt from BR’s. The sewer may have been private. No issues for something that was built 24 years ago.
