I have been let down by a floor screeder who should have laid a floor screed today for a newly built conservatory. Rather than waiting for another, I have decided to have a go myself with the help of a local builder on Saturday. The current state of the floor is as follows:
50mm Insulation / DPC / 100mm concrete Slab / 50mm Insulation / DPC material to cover / 10mm dia Plastic Underfloor Heating Pipes
I am having the screed delivered ready made with plastersizer(?) and added Fibers which help with the expansion/contraction issues I believe.
The total area is about 20 square meters and the depth is to be 65mm.
First question, does all of the above look OK, i.e. have I been advised correctly? Secondly, any last minute advice before the screed is dumped on my drive on saturday morning!!!!! All necessary tools are hopefully on their way from Screwfix as I type!!
Thanks in advance
