Hi all

I've moved into a house that's got a conservatory in need of some TLC. Tempted to just pull it down but for now it serves a purpose. I just want to stop the water coming in.

Initially I've had a think about how to get access as I want to have a good look at the flashing and figure out where the leaks are, and repair them for now.

I've made some crawl boards etc and set up a platform. I. The first instance my intention was to remove the spike at the end of the ridge beam, and the crest (I don't like those, will bin them when gone) and then move platform to the side of the conservatory and use some long crawl boards resting on top of the ridge beam, to address the flashing.

I've attached some pics of the ridge beam, crest etc. and have some questions if I may?.....

Does anyone know what brand of conservatory this might be? And where I may be able to get spare parts? i.e. the glazing bar covers have had it, ideally need to replace them.

Does anybody know how the spike is fixed to the ridge beam. I've tried to unscrew it, slide it out etc. no joy. Is it screwed in from underneath? The inside is insulated and clad so I haven't got access there as it stands.

Thanks in advance for any comments you may have.
