I would like to change our conservatory roof from polycarbonate to timber, plasterboard and tiles.
As we use our conservatory all year round we are trying to retain the heat from the radiator.
Is this possible, any problems I might come across.
Thanks.
Bridbaz.

only the fact that once you have settled the heat loss issues with the roof, you then have all that lovely heat losing glass to worry about.

Thanks for the response noseall.
I know I wont get my conservatory as warm as a living room but think a pitched roof would go a long way towards retaining some heat.
My real concern was if the conservatory could take the added weight of a pitched roof. The back and one side of the conservatory are attached to brick walls of the house.
Thanks again.
