Hi all

Looking at a house that has a 6.5m x 5m mono pitch conservatory with polycarbonate roof panels. It was a warm day when I went to see it and it was like a green house in there and wouldn't really be useable.

Not sure on type of footings used, but wondered if it was be possible to put a flat roof over it, or take out all the conservatory and build off the base for something where I could put an insulated roof

By the way the whole conservatory is made out of upvc, there is no brick walls

Thanks

Plastic fake tiles with insulation and plaster ceiling are all the rage now for conservatories - whatever footings they might have.
