Hi,

My consumer unit is currently over our back door. Next to the back door is downstairs toliet/sink room. I want remove the back door and block up the opening and replace it with a window. I would then remove the wall and turn the door to the toliet around so the downstairs toliet takes the space around where the back door is. - My question is can a consumer unit be inside a downstairs toliet room??

Not a problem as long as you don't intend to fit a bath or shower.

(and don't throw handfuls of water at the consumer unit!!)

Quite common in new builds to have CU in downstairs cloakroom.

& Breezer who pulled your chain :D
