hi. im considering contracting as a service / break down gas enginner in london and id love some advice from guys here. whats the minimum i should be asking per service either via an agency or contracting myself directly to a firm?i reckon 22 quid for 7 -8 jobs attended to , car costs, and parking tickets etc to

also how does payment work for say job that take a fair bit of time? i really dont want to be paid 25 quid for changing rad valves,cylinders etc. as a contractor i need to complete 7 -8 jobs a day to make it worth my while.

also what if attend break downs, but unable to firmly decide what the problem is how does payment work in these circumstances?

meant to add contracting for social housing f/ council firms. no way would i touch reactfast plumb direct etc. firms like oakrays, vhl vilage heating j oconnors . st
