Conversion of rear conservatory

we have a conservatory that is on its way out, can I convert this to. More solid affair under permitted development?

I was thinking of removing the glass walls. And stud walling with insulation, tyvex etc... and fitting a proper roof with either roof lights or a lantern.

Can I do this?

Probably a little difficult to argue repair and maintenance in this case. So what your doing is probably classed as development.

If it fits under the normal PD restrictions (the depth of the proposed extension, the height etc) then you can do it. If not then PP is required.
