For want of a better place to put this topic, I've put it here, so sorry if its the wrong place!
I've been offered a Stovax Huntingdon multi-fuel fire for £50. It has until now been oil fed, plumbed into an external oil tank, apparently on the same system as the central heating.
I'd be looking to convert this fire to standalone solid fuel / wood use. As its a multi-fuel stove, it should be straight forward I'd imagine, however as it has been plumbed into an oil system, is this going to compromise the stove in any way, and make it difficult / not cost effective to convert over?
