Converting Detached Garage

Hey,
I want to convert a detached brick built single garage with a flat roof.
It is at the rear of the property and I want to turn it into a usable space for entertaining or possibly even a kids play room.
Obv I need to insulate it etc, any pointers and maybe images from anyone who has done this before?
