converting sectional concrete garage to block walls

hi iam looking at replacing my sectional concrete garage walls with block walls, what i would like to know is is it ok to build the new walls directly on the concrete base as its 8in thick?

that`s fine,but I recall that a sectional building gets round planning permission, whereas a solid built one.... Best to check

just what i wanted to hear, ill have to look into the planning permission first though, cant see it being a problem though as it will be the same size, have the same use etc.
