Hi,
Before I moved to my ex council house the old out houses had been extended with a cavity wall and made into a second living room. The floor was a suspended wooden floor.
I now want to convert this room into my kitchen, and have taken up the wooden flooring to find an uneven concrete floor beneath it. The depth is about 10cm maybe a bit more.
I want to install under floor electric heating then tile over it.
I do not believe there was an dpc installed and think I will need one.
Has any body any advice on making up the floor?
