PLEASE COULD YOU TELL ME WHAT COLOUR IS REPRESENTED BY AN L ON A COOKER CONNECTION CABLE IT ALSO HAS A PE AND AN N ON THE DIAGRAM COULD YOU PUT THE COLOURS TO THE LETTERS

Depends on whether you have a cable conforming to the new scheme or the old scheme.

Are you aware what L, N, and E stand for ?

No offence, but if you have to ask this, are you sure you have the knowledge needed to do electricial work :?:

L = live = red or brown
PE = Protective earth = bare or green/yellow
N = Neutral = black or blue

AND PLEASE DON'T SHOUT!

is this guy 5 years old or something? i probably knew what L and N stood for when i was 8, and knew the associated colours, and could have worked out which wire to connect to PE :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:
