I am fitting a cooker hood and the ducting goes up and along the ceiling to an outside wall about 6 feet from the hood. I just have the the hole in the ceiling and the hole in the outside wall to work with. Any suggestions as to how I can feed it it through would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Alan

Feed a length of cable or wire through from the hole outside(lots of slack)towards the hole in the ceiling, then from the inside stick your arm up into the void with a straightened wire coat hanger(or similar) with a hook on the end & hook the cable & pull it toward you & through the hole. Then fasten it to the ducting & reverse the procedure, feed plenty of spare up into the void then pull it through from outside.
