I have a Smeg range cooker with two fan elements. They both stopped working at the same time and the cooker is now cold. I have removed the elements and checked resistance which is about 25 Ohms suggesting that the elements are not broken.

Does anyone have any idea what else might be the problem. There are no obvious wires hanging out from anaywhere.

The model is SUK91MFX5

Many thanks in advance

Does anything on the cooker work? It's not a problem with the supply to it?

Have you had a power cut? Sometimes clocks on cookers need to be set before they'll work.

Also, try the Appliances forum.

Yes the gas burners work and the grill but not the oven - the fans turn but there's no heat

Thanks for your help

as above, is the clock set? If its flashing it may not work - most new cookers have the supply to the ovens through the clock, so that the clock can switch it off, similar to a microwave, at the end of its cooking time.
