Hi, I have a cooker that is designed for use with 6mm cable to socket 32A circuit. Do I have to use 6mm from the cooker to socket? or would 10mm be ok as I have a spare length?

Thanks

good point and one that I missed...

indeed a cooker should have it's own circuit and cannot be wired off the back of the socket ring...

Thanks guys, yes it is on its own circuit 6mm cable from fuse box 32 A trip RCD into a switch and then cooker socket.
