cooker wiring

hi there
i am having my kitchen decorated. my old cooker was on the left handside as u get in the kitchen now i want to change location of the cooker.the previous cooker was controlled with 45 amp cooker switch electrician change the place of the switch put the double socket instead of putting cooker socket my qquestion is my cooker power is 2450w can i wire 13amp plug cable of cooker and plug in without cooker switch

it does turn off the socket so i can put 13 amp plug job done isnt it? i dont need to fit a cooker switch. there is no gas at home everything is electric.

Yes, but it's doubtful that you will be able to plug in a hob - too much power needed.
