I have a Belling gas cooker and the bottom oven isn't getting hot enough to cook with. The flame is blue and can be turned up and down but it still doesn't get very hot in there. Is it worth having someone out to it or just replace it?

Door seal looks ok, no splits or anything. I've given all the metal a scrub down today but still no better, any ideas on what else it could be?

use a strip of newspaper to test the door seal, close the door on the newspaper and gently pull it you should feel a slight resistance to it being pulled out. do this down both the hinge and catch side of the door and along the top. if it pulls out easily the door needs adjusting to grp the newspaper
