Hi, looking for some advice please, we are wanting to add flat coping stones to a wall any advice please on the best way to fix them to the wall? There will be railings going on top. We were going to use mortar however I was advised that this wouldn't be stable enough with railings too. We have children so want them to be secure. Thanks in advance.

You could drill the underside of the coping stones and use some short protruding lengths of threaded bar held in place with epoxy resin bonding.
Drill corresponding holes into the top course of bricks and before the resin sets put the coping stones on and push the protruding rods into the resin.
If you put down a mortar/cement bed on the bricks as well, (leaving a small space to insert the resin and rods), it should be very secure once it's all dried and set.
